Talks and Workshops

Engaging, interactive sessions designed around your audience

As a historian, teaching and engaging audiences has always been one of my greatest passions. I design and deliver interactive, research-led workshops and public history talks tailored to the needs of your organisation or group, ensuring every participant leaves with new knowledge and ideas.

I regularly give talks and run workshops for community groups, local history societies, schools, as well as historic sites, universities, and other organisations. Sessions can be delivered in-person or online, and are designed to be engaging, informative, and inspiring for participants of all ages.

I hold an ILM-accredited Train the Trainer award and am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, combining academic expertise with proven training skills. My talks and workshops can cover:

  • Local and national history topics, including medieval and early modern British history and the history of Wales

  • Historic buildings and estates

  • Research techniques, archival skills, and interpreting sources

  • Public engagement, grant funding, heritage management, and conservation insights

I am always enthusiastic to explore new ideas and tailor sessions to suit your organisation’s goals. Get in touch to discuss how I can bring history to life for your team, students, or community.
