I love talking about history and I am available for public speaking and media work on a wide range of history topics. I have particular interests in British and Welsh history from the fifteenth to the eighteenth centuries, including the Tudors and Stuarts, the early British colonies in the Atlantic world, the Reformation, architectural history, and women's and gender history. I regularly give talks at universities in the UK and abroad.
I have experience giving television and radio interviews and I enjoy communicating history to different audiences, including schools, local history societies, and history festivals.
